The Capital Cat Festival

The Capital Cat Festival is Washington DC's newest celebration of feline health, wellness, and companionship. As the region's first large-scale cat-focused event since Meow DC, the event features adoptable cats, expert-led nutrition seminars, product sampling opportunities, and activities celebrating the human-feline bond.

We're working with Brandywine Valley SPCA, A Cat's Life Rescue, Humane Rescue Alliance, and Tiny Cat Animal Rescue as well as several other sponsors, personalities, local businesses, and artisans to help curate this unique event. There will be raffles with prizes, goodie bags, and adoptable cats!

We feel that cats are underrepresented and we are aiming to change that through education and celebration of our feline friends, and hopefully increase fosters and adoptions and build bridges among the local rescue communities.
